Starlight used to cut full-length movies into Super 8mm loops. This is the classic German movie Josefine Mutzenbacher… wie sie wirklich war (re-titled Sensational Janine for the US market). It was directed by Hans Billian with the gorgeous Austrian porn star Patricia Rhomberg as Josephine (she was also Billian's girlfriend at the time). Personally I think it's one of the best porn movies ever made.

Originally Starlight cut the movie into five loops, but I've never found the box cover for Part 4 (entitled Verbotene Leidenschaft).

The five loops were released in 1977.

When Caballero released their English-language version for the US market they cut 10 minutes of footage from the original movie. This is the complete version that includes the two missing scenes, entitled "Police Station" and "The Photo Shoot".

The two scenes are still in German because they were never translated.

For those interested, the movie is based on the 1906 Austrian erotic novel Josefine Mutzenbacher – Die Lebensgeschichte Einer Wienerischen Dirne, Von Ihr Selbst Erzählt. It has since sold over three million copies and  is still in print. Although originally published anonymously, it is now attributed to the Austrian author Felix Salter - also the author of the animated classic Bambi.
